Dasha - Whoa! Fab, fab, fab! Was such a beautiful wedding and it was a pleasure to meet Cat and Joshua!

Part One : Cat & Joshua’s Insanely Beautiful Wedding in Kent with Jenny Packham, Bluebells and Balloons!

It’s an absolute pleasure to be able to share Cat & Joshua’s incredible wedding with you today.  It was a dreamy day to shoot from start to finish with amazing details, a gorgeous church, which Cat & Joshua transformed into a beautiful venue complete with trees and candles, and lastly a stunning bride and groom who wanted to spend lots of time with me for the couple portraits – yay!  This gorgeous affair took place near Wye in Kent and although the weather wasn’t perfect, the light during the portraits was beautiful and we even found a bluebell field!  Catherine was a natural beauty in Jenny Packham and minimalist make-up.  Joshua was an absolute natural with the photos, giving me his best “strong” poses all day long!  It was a day full of smiles and laughter with close friends and family .  A big thank you to the ever so talented and lovely Dasha Caffrey for 2nd shooting with me .  To Cat & Joshua, your wedding was an absolute pleasure to shoot and I wish you all the happiness in the world.  Stay strong!  Helen xxx

Lisa’s Yummily Scrumptious Dinner Party in the Alps xxx

Back in March I had the absolute pleasure of photographing a dinner party in Chamonix hosted by the gorgeous Lisa Murgatroyd.  As the snow fell outside Lisa and her 9 lovely guests enjoyed a scrummy 3 course meal accompanied by homemade tomato and onion foccaccia and most importantly, a delicious raspberry mojito – to die for!  Lisa has a real passion for food, using fresh, bold flavours and colours to create mouthwatering dishes, as you can see below!  She is also such a lovely, open person with a beautiful smile and spirit.  I particularly love the outdoor shots of Lisa in the snow, the gorgeous chalet setting and all the vibrant colours set against the rustic backdrop.  A huge thank you to Lisa for asking me to document such a fun (and delicious) day, I loved it and will fly back anytime for more of these shoots!! xxx

Rachel & Andrew’s Fairytale xx

Back on the 5th April I shot a lovely wedding near Southampton.  It was absolutely freezing outside but neither Rachel or Andrew let it stop them from having some gorgeous pics outside:) It was a wonderful day full of smiles, laughter and the yummiest cupcakes made by Rachel herself!!  My favourite part was seeing Rachel & Andrew playing with the band for all their guests – amazing!  Here are some of my favourites from the day:)xxx

A HUGE thank you to Hayley Savage Photography for working with me on the day:)

Kim - Your photos are beautiful guys!

Helen & Nobby : A Fairytale Snowy Wedding in Chamonix ♥

If I had to mark this wedding out of ten it would get an 11!!  Helen & Nobby both ski for the Navy Ski Team and chose Chamonix to celebrate their love of snow and each other with all their friends and family.  The whole day was planned to perfection by the amazing Jody of Mont Blanc Weddings – I honestly couldn’t recommend her highly enough for taking the stress out of a destination wedding and making each wedding magical and unique.  A beautiful ceremony in the cute Les Praz chapel was followed by a gorgeous reception at La Cabane des Praz where fancy dress and snow gin kept the party swinging until the early hours.  Helen & Nobby chose a cute little mazot in Les Tines for their couple shots where Nobby proved to me why he was chosen to model for the Navy (and toothpaste as a boy apparently) with his blue steel and long loving gazes towards his stunning new wife.  I just adore these two and it was the perfect wedding to kick off the 2013 season for Helen Cawte Photography!  Camilla and I were also able to have a brilliant few days in a beautiful setting and I can’t thank her enough for travelling to Chamonix to shoot this with me.  TIme for the photos and a whole lot of gorgeousness…

Snow Gin for the guests, LOVE this ♥

How cool is Nobby’s tweed suit?

How stunning is Helen?  Love her dress and birdcage veil…

Too cute…

What a setting…

Seriously, how amazing are these two??

If only every wedding could include a croquembouche complete with massive sparklers!

Some of my favourite shots of the day…  Gotta love a bit of off camera flash!

See – blue steel!!  Both working it to perfection! x

Thank you thank you thank you Helen & Nobby for letting me be part of your celebrations!  You guys seriously rock and I know you’ll have a future full of love, laughter and plenty more fun in the snow!  Wishing you all the luck in the world for your new lives in Canada xxx
