How would you describe your photography style?

Although it’s really hard to categorise my shooting style I like to use words such as romantic, feminine, light, fine art and timeless to describe the images you will receive after your wedding day. People are often confused by shooting styles so I recommend having a good look through my online galleries and blog to get a better idea.

What cameras and lenses do you use?

I carry 2 Canon 5Ds Mark III for digital packages and a Contax 645 for any film packages. I primarily use Canon L Series prime lenses, my faves being the Canon 50mm 1.2, 24mm 1.2 and 100mm macro.

Do you shoot destination weddings?

YES, YES and YES! I absolutely love destination weddings and the different landscapes and light these provide. Having studied Modern Languages at University and lived abroad for many years I speak fluent French, very good Spanish and diminishing German, which can be an amazing help on your day. I have shot weddings in Ibiza, The French Alps, New Zealand, Gerona and Sardinia.

Are there extra costs for destination weddings?

I charge for travel, accommodation but not for my travel time getting to you.  All these costs can be discussed in advance.

Do we receive all the photos in high resolution?

Yes, all photos are supplied on a USB in high resolution. I individually retouch every photo to make sure they look their very best with my trademark style.

We’re keen! How do we book?

To book I just require a completed Booking Form and a 25% deposit to secure your date. The balance payment is due 30 days prior to your wedding.

How long after the wedding until we can view our photos?

I understand how excited you’ll be to see your Wedding Photos so I aim for 3-4 weeks but in peak months I may have to extend this to 4-6. For film, I will always courier your films to the lab the day after your wedding who should hopefully have the scans back to me within 3 weeks.

We’re both really shy in front of the camera. Do we have to spend loads of time posing?

Not at all. I completely understand that not everyone likes being in front of the camera so I will talk to you about this before the wedding day. Equally I don’t want to keep you away from your guests and find that my natural, more reportage style of photography best captures the atmosphere and emotion of your wedding. Whether you want to spend 5 minutes or 45 minutes with me getting the couple shots, I will always ensure it is as natural and fun as possible, allowing you to just be together enjoying your first few moments as husband and wife.

Are you insured?

Yes, I have fully comprehensive insurance including public liability and professional indemnity.

Why Should we choose a film package or upgrade?

I absolutely love film and the find it’s the perfect medium for capturing weddings. The dreamy blur, the range of tones and the pastel colour palette make for beautiful, timeless images and really suit my style. I always bring along a digital shooter too just to make sure that everything is captured so you will receive a wide range of images, all in my trademark style.

What is a film upgrade?

If you fancy the look of film but can’t justify the cost of a full film package why not opt for the film upgrade package for £250.  For this price I will capture some stunning film images during your couple portraits as well as some details and candids.  You will receive 30 beautiful film images both as a fine art print and as a digital file.
