Another 2011 wedding to share with you all! Liz and Rhys didn’t actually really want a wedding photographer, both being quite camera shy and modest so I had the brief of capturing their day unobtrusively and with minimal posing. I love shooting like this, although I did request just 5 minutes to capture a few shots of the newlyweds!
It was a beautiful day that had threatened rain all week but luckily held until about 5pm when everyone was heading into the marquee for the speeches. Liz looked beautiful, a real English rose, and really shouldn’t have been worried about photos at all! The reception was held at Liz’s parents home in Sidlesham following a lovely service at Sidlesham church. They had obviously been preparing for the wedding for months as the marquee looked stunning, with all flowers coming from their garden. Even Liz’s gorgeous bouquet was home-grown.
It was a beautiful day and from the brief time I spent with them, it’s clear that Liz and Rhys are perfectly suited for each other. I want to say a huge thank you to both Liz and Rhys for trusting me with their photos and wish them all the happiness in the world xxx
